Thomas Zeug: „2 Aliens - Meuterei auf der Bulldock“
Thomas Zeug, born on 07.07.1987, grew up in Regensburg, is a multi-award-winning filmmaker and VFX artist living in Munich.
Even as a child, he was fascinated by movies and cinema, so much so that the first time he played with his father's video camera, he smashed it! Due to a lack of willing fellow actors or cameramen, he began his first attempts at animated film with paper, pencil and Lego. Many years and film projects later, the self-taught filmmaker taught himself digital video editing on the computer and discovered his love of computer animation.
He has already won various prizes with his projects, including the German Youth Video Award several times, awards from the Regensburg Short Film Week and the one-off Jupiter Rookie Award. This has also made him a jury member at several film festivals and competitions.
He trained as a media designer for image and sound at ProSiebenSat.1 in Unterföhring and is now employed as a visual producer at the subsidiary RedSeven Entertainment.
